How to Change Your Dreams

Many people in the world dream. Some are amazing and some are horrifying. The greatest part about dreams is that you CAN change them. For most....... It's not easy, it actually feels like it is downright impossible. The dream techniques in this blog are techniques I’ve taught myself over the span of 10 years. The best part is I have taught many friends these dream tricks and it has worked. I want to make absolutely clear that when you learn to change your dreams you actually change your whole aspect of life.

Changing your dreams is a very powerful way to change your reality. Once you open this box, there's no way to close it. Your perception of life as it is will be different. Most people end up being more positive than they have ever been. Especially dealing with everyday situations, people, problems in life and doubts within themselves. When you lean how to master the land of sleep your mind becomes much more aware and open.

The best part is the EXPERIENCE! I know that it's “only a dream” but let's think about that.

Flying through clouds of every color in the rainbow, climbing mountains made of pancakes, dancing among the stars of a massive galaxy and even holding a loved one in your arms that you haven't seen in a long time. Even though it didn’t happen in real life, you remembered it and can recall it just like anything you’ve experienced in this reality. Throughout history, many geniuses have made discoveries in their dream and turned it into reality. Now lets start learning how to change our dreams.

The most important step and one of the most difficult ones to accomplish is realizing you're in a dream when your dreaming. You can and will have dreams you intended to create, even without realizing you're in a dream, but in order to have full control you have to know when you are dreaming so that you can shape and mold it into whatever you want. There are many ways to do this.

    Recurring Dreams

Have you ever had a dream that happens once a week, a month or every night? Even if it's a bad dream use it to your advantage. I'll use myself as an example. I had a dream when I was young of two shadow demons (they looked just like the ones in the movie “Ghost”) pin me against the backboard of my bed.  No matter how much I screamed for help no sound came out. When I woke up I was terrified! But I also was mad for being afraid. So every night before I went to bed, I told myself “if those demons come back make your body fill up with light and blast that powerful energy out onto them.” A month later the dream happened again. The demons came for me, but this time I filled up with a blinding white light, blasted it out into a huge shock wave and disintegrated the shadow demons. From that point on I was able to change my dreams (not all the time still hard lol).

Every single night tell yourself if you see that recurring dream, no matter what it is, tell yourself you're dreaming and execute an action you had planned. In my dream it was a blinding white light, but I could have chosen many other ways of handling that particular dream. NEVER GIVE UP! Keep trying every night, no matter if it takes weeks or even months, it will happen. Like I said changing your dreams is far from easy for most people and it takes time and patience. Just like most things in life, you have to work at it.

   Some Kind of Sound

This is a pretty cool one. Set a sound you think will work for you and save it to your alarm on your phone or sound system.  Make sure to put it at a volume that’s just enough to be able to hear it, but not to wake you up. Program it to turn on periodically throughout the night while you sleep. And again (this is pretty much the core to the whole practice) remind yourself every night before you go to bed that if you hear that sound when your sleeping to realize you're actually in a dream. This method is excellent because you're not “waiting” for the right time you are creating it. When picking a sound, there’s a couple of things to consider. Something visual is always great, like the sound of waves. Someone that would use waves can remind them self that if he/she sees an ocean or beach in a dream to immediately wake up inside it and proceed with whatever desired.  Always pick something you feel will spark your awareness, but not actually make you alert enough to wake up. Try one sound for at least a week to get used to it as a trigger. If you do not feel like it's working, then try another sound.

   Daily Activities

We all have times in our lives that is repetitive on a daily base. Work is a great example, many people dream about work because they are at work all the time. I am a video gamer myself. If I spend more than a certain amount of hours playing a video game I will end up having a dream of playing that video game. There has been many times I would be dreaming of playing my video game and would use that as a “trigger” to realize I'm in a dream. Right at that moment I would change the whole scene of the dream and fly off into the sky. Just remember the whole goal is to find a way to remember your dreaming.

Waking up in a dream can be hard at first. Once you learn how to the rest is great! You basically get to do whatever you want. Don’t forget practice makes perfect. There has been times where I would make myself fly, but didn’t fly as fast or high as I wanted to. Once you learn how to change your dreams you can move on to the next step. What to do in your dreams! But that's for my next blog.
